Office Manager

Reports to: CEO / Founders 

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience

Location: Dorking, Surrey

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

 

Our lovely SME who is growing rapidly within the eCommerce industry is looking for an Office Manager to look after the day to day running of the business.  The role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities and you will also be responsible for guiding members of the organisation to ensure they fulfil their maximum potential and achieve goals and targets set within the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the company
  • Managing team goals, targets and supporting teams with the execution of their work
  • Be the first point of escalation for all operational issues. 
  • Responsibility for all of the management issues surrounding the business, including absence management and one-to-one appraisals.
  • Responsibility of HR administration
  • Continuous process improvement and development of process automation
  • Coaching and development of team members, helping our people develop and be productive
  • Assisting with the management and organisation all new product launches
  • Be the first point of escalation for all queries and problems 
  • General office management duties to ensure the business runs smoothly
  • Supporting the directors where necessary
  • Assisting manager with 1:2:1s

Essential Skills & Knowledge 

  • Previous Office Management experience
  • Good IT skills 
  • Arithmetic skills and knowledge
  • HR knowledge
  • Strong team-working combined with ability to work as part of a cross functional team
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Use of Microsoft Office and Google e.g. Word, Excel, Google Sheets and Google Docs
  • Experience in goal setting and targets across multiple business areas

  • Able to prioritise and identify solutions in timely manner
